ATLANTA, GA, Nov. 23, 2016 — SecureWorks Corp. (NASDAQ: SCWX), a leading provider of intelligence-driven information security solutions, announced today it has achieved Advanced Technology Partner status in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN).
The Advanced designation is the highest status an APN Technology Partner can receive, and demonstrates SecureWorks’ continued commitment to bringing additional layers of security to clients seeking to embrace the power of AWS. To reach Advanced status, AWS requires APN members to meet certain criteria, including increased technical validation, a higher number of public client references, and extensive training on AWS and cloud technology. Only a small portion of APN members achieve Advanced Technology status.
SecureWorks has been an AWS client and a member of the APN since 2014. The designation validates SecureWorks extensive cloud expertise and its effort to provide clients the best solutions for securing their data and applications in cloud environments.
Backed by the SecureWorks Counter Threat Platform TM, SecureWorks offers a comprehensive portfolio of cloud security solutions designed to help secure clients as they leverage AWS. Earlier this year, SecureWorks added new capabilities purpose-built for AWS to secure customer workloads with software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that provide security monitoring of client applications and data being hosted on AWS. SecureWorks also offers both cloud-focused security consulting and incident response services as well.
Leveraging a mix of machine learning, analytical capabilities, and the latest threat intelligence, the CTP aggregates as many as 190 billion events every day and brings both advanced insights and threat protection to clients worldwide. With the CTP, SecureWorks delivers countermeasures and generate valuable intelligence and contextual information about the intentions of the attackers that can then be applied to secure cloud environments.
SecureWorks is a sponsor at this year’s AWS re: Invent 2016 conference, which runs from November 28 to December 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is demonstrating its cloud security solutions at booth 2336.
“We are honored to have reached Advanced Technology Partner status, further demonstrating our commitment to helping customers succeed in leveraging the AWS Cloud,” said Matt Eberhart, executive director of global product management at SecureWorks. “With our solutions, organizations can extend their security visibility and get added protection for their sensitive data on premises and in the cloud. Through our collaboration with AWS, we are able to better serve the needs of our clients as they pursue hybrid architectures as they transform their organizations to be more agile and flexible.”
