SANS Scottsdale, Arizona Security Training Event to Offer Unique insight into the Mind of an Attacker and How to Stop Them

SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced the agenda for SANS Scottsdale 2017 taking place in Arizona February 20 – 25. The training will feature eight hands-on, immersion-style security courses all of which are aligned with GIAC certifications; several of these courses are designed to prepare technical staff for DoDD 8140. Bonus evening discussions, including John Strand’s If I Wake Evil discussion, will round out the agenda.

According to John Strand, Senior Security Analyst at Black Hills Information Security and a SANS Senior Instructor, “My presentation, If I Wake Evil, is a step by step guide of how I would attack your network. In addition to showing you how evil works, I will teach you how to stop evil.”
