PhishMe Wins Four 2017 Info Security Products Guide Global Excellence Awards®

LEESBURG, VA – March 3rd, 2017PhishMe, the leading provider of human-phishing defense solutions, was recently honored with four 2017 Info Security Products Guide Global Excellence Awards®, winning in every category in which it was a finalist. These prestigious global awards, put on by the industry’s leading information security research and advisory guide, recognize security and IT vendors with advanced, ground-breaking products and solutions that help set the bar higher for others in all areas of security and technologies. More than 40 judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world weighed the nominations, and their average scores determined the 2017 Global Excellence Awards finalists and winners.

PhishMe was awarded the following:

  • For the second year in a row, PhishMe Co-founder and CEO Rohyt Belani was honored as a CEO of the Year
  • Co-founder and CTO, Aaron Higbee, was named a CTO of the Year
  • PhishMe won in the Best Security Service category for its anti-phishing solutions
  • An implementation of PhishMe was highlighted as the “Gold Winner” in the Best Deployments in U.S.A. category

“The PhishMe leadership team is honored to receive this recognition from Info Security Products Guide,” said Belani. “It is a privilege to be recognized as a CEO of the Year for the second time and for Aaron Higbee, one of the most innovative minds in the industry, to be awarded CTO of the Year.”

As co-founders of PhishMe, Belani and Higbee have quickly grown the company, which recently announced an Annual Run Rate (ARR) approaching $50 million and global expansion resulting in more than 300 employees serving 1,200 customers worldwide. Along the way, they have established themselves as critical leaders in the cybersecurity industry. Their leadership and innovation has also been instrumental in securing over $55 million in institutional capital from reputed investors like Paladin Capital Group, Bessemer Venture Partners and Aldrich Capital Partners.

After a record-breaking year of growth in 2016 and several other major industry accolades, including recognition in the 2016 SC Magazine Awards, Inc. 5000 and the Deloitte Fast 500, PhishMe’s world-class solution has emerged as a dominant force in the phishing threat management space with almost half of the Fortune 100 using its platform for attack identification, human-verified intelligence and incident response.

“As exciting as it is to be personally recognized, the awards for Best Security Service and Best Deployment in the U.S.A. are even more rewarding. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products, the dedication of our engineering teams, and our superior customer service which is among the highest rated in the industry,” said Aaron Higbee, co-founder and CTO of PhishMe. “These awards are proof of the hard work and dedication of every member of the PhishMe team.”

Earlier this year at RSA Conference 2017, PhishMe continued to innovate by announcing new features for its flagship product, PhishMe Simulator, and upgrades to PhishMe Triage, an automated phishing incident response solution to improve detection and mitigation of phishing attacks that bypassed traditional perimeter controls.
