OneLogin Pioneers First-Ever HR-driven Identity Integration with Namely

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., October 18, 2016OneLogin, the identity management provider bringing speed and integrity to the modern enterprise, today announced an integration and partnership with Namely, the modern all-in-one HR, payroll, and benefits platform for mid-sized companies, to deliver HR-driven Identity (HDI) to better secure access to SaaS applications and protect employees’ PII.

“Identity underpins modern security, and HR is the primary source of truth for identity,” said David Meyer, vice president of products, OneLogin. “Today’s integration builds upon OneLogin’s previous single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) support for Namely. Now employee records in Namely can be synced into OneLogin’s Cloud Directory, ensuring that employees can securely access the right apps, with the right permissions, on any device, and that they are deprovisioned immediately when they leave the organization.”

This integration makes Namely the primary repository for user identities within all SaaS applications used by an organization. When an employee record is created or updated in Namely, OneLogin uses those changes to appropriately adjust that employee’s application access. This reduces work for IT while decreasing the risk that employees are accidentally provided access to apps they shouldn’t have, which in turn protects the employee PII stored in those apps.

“Together, Namely and OneLogin make onboarding magical for employees: they instantly have access to every application they need,” said Nick Sanchez, chief people officer at Namely. “Plus, HR teams can onboard and offboard employees securely without any help from IT. That’s time saved on administrative work, which turns into time spent on strategy and culture.”
