OneLogin announces strategic partnership with NEC Solution Innovators to resell services in Japan

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., November 21, 2016OneLogin, the identity management provider bringing speed and integrity to the modern enterprise, today announced that the company has signed a distribution agreement with NEC Solution Innovators to resell OneLogin services in Japan. Under terms of the agreement, NEC Solution Innovators will resell OneLogin services and provide first-level support for Japanese customers.

“We’re excited to partner with NEC Solution Innovators, one of the world’s leading technology brands,” said Steven Chung, chief revenue officer, OneLogin. “OneLogin has been participating in the Japanese and greater APAC market for more than three years during which time we’ve experienced explosive growth. APAC is one of the world’s fastest growing cloud adoption markets and OneLogin is perfectly positioned to provide companies with both the security and workforce productivity they need without a tradeoff of one for the other.”

“The majority of emerging Asia/Pacific economies are still a “greenfield” for IAM implementations, with more than 70 percent of organizations, particularly SMBs, starting to conceptualize entry-level IAM processes and build foundational capabilities.” Gartner, Inc., “The State of IAM in Asia/Pacific and Japan,” Anmol Singh and Felix Gaehtgens, October 4, 2016.*

“OneLogin is a veteran and trusted cloud identity management brand in Japan and the APAC market,” said Koichi Sasaki, Corporate officers, NEC Solution Innovators. “We view OneLogin as a strategic partner uniquely positioned to work with us as we help both cloud-based and on-premise businesses in Japan and APAC migrate to the cloud and safely and securely manage their entire application portfolios.

“Jump-starting IAM with IDaaS: IDaaS is a great for organizations looking to onboard basic IAM functions, without having to establish an entire in-house IAM competency, which could be a much lengthier and costlier engagement. While significantly improving upon the time to value and total cost of ownership (TCO) propositions compared to on-premises IAM deployments, IDaaS has been proven to provide a convenient and effective kick-start to IAM programs of organizations with a relatively higher concentration of SaaS and other web-based applications.” Gartner, Inc., “The State of IAM in Asia/Pacific and Japan,” Anmol Singh and Felix Gaehtgens, October 4, 2016.*

OneLogin is a comprehensive solution that goes well beyond simple single sign-on (SSO) and password management, with multi-factor authentication (MFA), mobile identity, support for multiple directory formats (e.g., AD and LDAP), and user provisioning.
