Kaspersky Lab Named a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms for the Sixth Time in a Row

Woburn, MA – February 8, 2017 – Kaspersky Lab has been positioned in the “Leaders” quadrant of the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms. The evaluation was based on the criteria for both “completeness of vision” and “ability to execute.” This is the sixth time in a row that the company has been positioned as a Leader by Gartner.

“We feel being a leader in cybersecurity requires constant innovation. Vendors in the industry need to stay ahead of new cybercriminal techniques and, at the same time, address the ever-growing IT infrastructure landscape,” said Nikita Shvetsov, chief technology officer at Kaspersky Lab. “This year marks Kaspersky Lab’s twentieth anniversary of technological excellence, during which we’ve developed and deployed various approaches to cybersecurity. From rapid updates to our products to cloud-based security intelligence, and now, advanced machine learning algorithms, these are our achievements that have been proven by independent tests, reputable analysts and satisfied customers.”
