SUNNYVALE, Calif. – January 11, 2017 – Illumio, the adaptive segmentation market leader, announced today that Jim Yares has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations, bringing a long history of enterprise sales and customer success leadership to the executive team. Yares will oversee global field sales, sales engineering, and customer success, as well as channel development at the data center and cloud security company.

As former Chief Operating Officer for Crownpeak and interim CEO, Yares led their successful private equity investment and merger with London-based ActiveStandards. Prior to Crownpeak, he held a series of executive roles at leading security and technology companies including AlienVault, Hewlett Packard, Fortify Software, BearingPoint, and KPMG.
