Woodley most recently served as Vice President of Americas Sales for Gigamon, where he defined and executed the go-to-market strategy that helped establish record revenue momentum for the company. In his new role, Woodley will lead all worldwide sales functions including the Channel and Alliances, Federal, Service Provider and Inside Sales teams, as well as Sales Engineering and Enablement.
Woodley’s promotion comes at a time of rapidly evolving marketplace dynamics which has seen the timelines for Digital Transformation (DX) initiatives condense from five years down, in some cases, to five months. His team is laser focused on guiding customers through the Gigamon network and analytics solution portfolio, which can help alleviate the business and technical pressures that DX, 5G and cloud initiatives present to the networks of tomorrow. The worldwide sales team is dedicated to assisting resource constrained IT and InfoSec customers leverage the strong return-on-investment (ROI) capabilities Gigamon provides.

Woodley, who is based at Gigamon headquarters in Santa Clara, CA, is a results-driven leader with over 20 years of experience cultivating highly successful teams. Woodley joined Gigamon in early 2019 from Silver Peak Systems where he led the Enterprise Sales team for North America and was responsible for scaling the team. Prior to Silver Peak, he served as Vice President of Sales for several companies including Check Point where he honed his ability to build global teams, expand territory revenue, establish vertical markets and scale strategic account teams. Prior to Check Point, he served in sales and channel leadership positions at iPass, CompuServe/UUnet and Xerox.
