CyberArk Appoints Adam McCord Vice President of Sales, Latin America

NEWTON, Mass. and PETACH TIKVAH, Israel – January 26, 2017 – CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR), the company that protects organizations from cyber attacks that have made their way inside the network perimeter, today announced the appointment of Adam McCord as vice president of sales for Latin America.

In this new role, McCord is responsible for expanding the regional sales team and partner network to improve access to the CyberArk Privileged Account Security Solution across Latin America. He will also help create greater awareness about the importance of prioritizing privileged account security as a proactive enterprise security solution to combat advanced threats.

“Adam’s understanding of Latin American business culture, track record for recruiting and leading over-performing sales teams, and ability to nurture valuable partner networks make him an important addition to our team,” said Ron Zoran, vice president sales, Americas at CyberArk. “As we work to expand regional market share, Adam understands the business opportunity for CyberArk and is enthusiastic about helping customers adopt privileged account security as a critical, measurable layer of security to protect against cyber attacks.”

McCord brings 17 years of sales and channel experience in Latin America, where he has demonstrated the ability to establish strong relationships with business leaders and drive market awareness and revenues for organizations seeking to establish and grow their business in the region. As regional director of Latin America and Caribbean for Palo Alto Networks, McCord launched the company’s regional operations, built up the sales organization and established strong channel and distributor partnerships, consistently overachieving sales targets. Most recently, McCord was regional director of Latin America for ForeScout where he on-boarded dozens of new partners and drove new business across financial, retail and government sectors.

“Privileged account security is rising in importance for Latin American organizations, with conversations about privilege-related risk at the endpoint and in the cloud becoming more frequent. There is a significant opportunity to further educate about the damaging effects of attacks that exploit privileged accounts and help organizations that want to evolve from compliance to risk-based security strategies,” said McCord. “Joining CyberArk is an incredible opportunity to build on the relationships I’ve established with security leaders in Latin America and deliver CyberArk’s critical layer of security to businesses in the region.”

McCord also worked with F5 Networks in multiple sales and leadership roles, most recently serving as vice president of Latin America and Caribbean. He previously served as the company’s country manager for Mexico.
