VMware Develops Secure Technical Implementation Guide for VMware AirWatch 9.X

PALO ALTO, CA–(Marketwired – November 03, 2016) – VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), a global leader in cloud infrastructure and business mobility, today announced the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has released the VMware AirWatch® 9.X Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Version 1 for immediate use.

The VMware AirWatch Version 9.X STIG, which can be viewed here, defines secure installation requirements for use on Department of Defense (DoD) networks and meets the stringent security standards required for installation on Dept. of Defense (DoD) networks. The guide details the cybersecurity policies, requirements and controls needed for IT to implement across all systems and architectures.
