SANS Security Awareness Releases New Interactive Training Videos
Expert-authored content drives engagement and increased security awareness
SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced the release of new and updated security awareness training content designed to help employees prevent cyberattacks.
“This new training showcases SANS’ deep cybersecurity expertise and commitment to timely, relevant and engaging security awareness training and education,” said Lance Spitzner, Director of SANS Security Awareness program.
Content updates were designed and created by a SANS team of expert cybersecurity practitioners and instructional designers. The 16 updated training modules include new animation and improved user experience. Three new modules cover important cybersecurity topics such as Targeted Attacks, Malware and Creating a Cybersecure Home.
Highlights of the updated training content include:
- Engagement questions to deepen learning and change behavior
- Quiz question feedback for both engagement questions and post-video quiz questions
- Brandable support materials to make it easier to run an awareness program
- Interactive training content
- Reduced module run times to increase impact
