Milan, Italy – September 20, 2023 – Qualys, Inc (NASDAQ: QLYS) a pioneer and leading provider of disruptive cloud-based IT, security and compliance solutions today announced it will open a new shared cloud platform (SCP) in Italy hosting Qualys’ cyber risk management portfolio. This new shared platform aligns with the country’s National Cybersecurity Perimeter (NCSP) cloud strategy and will allow Qualys customers in Italy to meet privacy requirements by storing data locally.

Qualys is committed to helping organizations meet the Italian cloud strategy requirements and supports the Italian government’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) for modernization and digitization. The new Qualys cloud infrastructure removes the potential barrier of data sovereignty issues for Italian customers while providing reduced latency, increased reliability, and faster service.
