BlackIP Distribution, the Dutch based Distribution Partner in Managed IT Security, Wireless and Mobility, has today announced a distribution agreement with OneLogin, a leader in cloud-based Identity & Access Management (IAM). The partnership will provide channel partners with an on-demand solution for authenticated access to all cloud services and applications from any device. OneLogin partners with industry leaders who share a common vision of helping organizations securely & easily leverage cloud technology.
The amount of cloud services enterprises use is on the rise. For users, this may mean having to remember numerous, individual passwords to each cloud portal. This isn’t just inconvenient for employees; it also brings with it a host of security issues. Having too many log-ins to remember may tempt users to choose lax, easy-to-hack passwords, leaving the enterprise infrastructure open to a multitude of cyber threats.
By implementing OneLogin’s services, users now have an easier and more secure solution to hand. The solution from the Identity and Access Management (IAM) specialist enables cloud users to log in via a central online portal, regardless of the number of cloud services/providers or the device used, and then have direct access to all booked cloud services and existing enterprise applications.
Peter Ruijters, Managing Partner at Black IP, comments: “The security industry is changing rapidly. There is a powerful thirst now for new, upcoming technology in the Cyber Security space, especially focussed around Secure Log-in and Social Engineering/Phishing.
As a result, there will be much more focus on the human factor and Identity Access Management. OneLogin’s approach to cloud based Identity Access Management goes far beyond old fashioned single sign on and will be a big draw for the market today. This is just the kind of thing we want to introduce to our partners/resellers.” As distribution partner, BlackIP will grow OneLogin’s presence in the Benelux and forge relationships with new partners to drive revenue growth. Added Value is BlackIPs top priority and they work very closely with their suppliers and partners by providing support throughout the entire process from quotation to final installation. They also help with generating sales leads, an activity managed from their virtual marketing. At BlackIP everything is designed to create a very close relationship with their partners and to quickly announce new technologies in the market.
‘We are extremely excited to find a solution partner in BlackIP who will be helping us to drive the huge demand we see especially in the Benelux Market The IAM market is expected to grow to $1.24 Bn by 2017 (source: Gartner) at 28% year on year growth, so represents a fantastic opportunity for partners in both licence annuity and implementation revenues’ Marcus Mueller, Managing Director EMEA Enterprise Business
To date, OneLogin’s cloud-based Identity & Access Management (IAM) solution has been deployed by thousands of organisations ranging from fast-growing tech unicorns to multinational enterprises with 10,000s or 100,000s of employees. The consistent feedback from larger enterprises with more complex IT environments has been that they would prefer IAM vendors who are able to handle both their cloud-based applications and their on-premise applications.
