TiEcon attendees can see the keynote presentation live in Hall A1 on Friday, May 5th, beginning at 2:30 PM Kashyap will speak on the most challenging problems facing information security teams today, and on the dual role of artificial intelligence as a disruptive force in the security market and an enabling technology essential to more effectively addressing cyber risk.

At Cylance, Kashyap is responsible for strategy, innovation, and architecture. Previously, he was executive vice president of products at Bromium and led worldwide threat research at McAfee Labs. A seasoned cybersecurity veteran, Kashyap has been instrumental in building several key security technologies, including network intrusion prevention systems (NIPS), host intrusion prevention systems (HIPS), web application firewalls (WAF), whitelisting, endpoint/server host monitoring (EDR) and micro-virtualization. Kashyap also mentors entrepreneurs, works with select venture capital firms and is on the advisory board of several technology start-ups.
