NORTHPORT, N.Y. – November 16, 2016 – Code Dx, Inc., a provider of an award-winning suite of fast and affordable tools that help software developers, testers and security analysts find, prioritize and manage software vulnerabilities, today announced that it has been selected by Bitnami as one of the first applications to be included in Microsoft’s Azure Government Cloud Marketplace. Government organizations are able to easily launch the Code Dx Application Vulnerability Correlation and Management Solution from an environment that adheres to the strict government procurement regulations for cloud technologies.
“Government organizations are looking for applications that are accessible in the cloud environment but also meet strict government procurement requirements,” said Anita D’Amico, Ph.D., CEO for Code Dx. “With Code Dx now available in the Azure Government Cloud Marketplace, public entities are able to easily launch their broad application security capabilities directly from the Azure Government Cloud Marketplace. This will be particularly valuable to government agencies and contractors who must demonstrate that the software they are developing or running has been tested for security, and complies with the DISA STIG (Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides).”
The Microsoft Azure Government Cloud Marketplace is a cloud platform built upon the foundational principles of security, privacy and control, compliance, and transparency. Government organizations (federal, state, local, tribal, and educational) receive a physically-isolated instance of Microsoft Azure offering high-level security and compliance services that are essential to the U.S. government for all systems and applications built on its architecture.
Code Dx is listed under the “Bring Your Own License” category enabling users to run the current free trial version of Code Dx and/or contact Code Dx to purchase a license. Through Bitnami, Code Dx can be easily deployed for both quick evaluations and production installations, and the process for future upgrades is simplified. After one quick installation, users are able to automatically configure and run Code Dx to consolidate and normalize software vulnerabilities detected by multiple code analysis tools.
“The Azure Government Cloud Marketplace is an invaluable resource for government entities in search of trusted cloud computing solutions,” said Kevin Franklin, Director of Business Development at Bitnami. “We selected the Code Dx solution as one of the first Bitnami applications to be included in this online marketplace, because it is perfectly aligned with the requirements of most government organizations looking for a reliable solution to help secure their software applications.”
A joint webinar with Code Dx and Bitnami will be held on December 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. PST.
