New Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) headquarters office located in Central Park office building makes KnowBe4 even more accessible to customers and employees
KnowBe4 opens a new office, which serves as its EMEA headquarters. The provider of the world’s largest platform for security awareness and simulated phishing is moving its Dutch branch to the centrally located Central Park office building in Utrecht.
The new office was officially opened by KnowBe4’s founder and CEO, Stu Sjouwerman, the Dutch-born entrepreneur who has lived and worked in the United States since the 1990s. In 2010, he co-founded the cybersecurity company with his business partner Kevin Mitnick – who recently passed away – to help organizations address the problem of cybercrime and social engineering tactics through the deployment of a modern security awareness training platform.
New office location helps reduce carbon footprint
The Central Park office building is located right next to Utrecht Central Station. This makes the new office easily accessible for employees and clients who want to use public transport.
“KnowBe4 is currently experiencing and further anticipating incredible growth in the EMEA region, which is why we are opening this new office. It is centrally located in the Netherlands, within walking distance of the station and at a prime location in the bustling center of Utrecht. The choice of this location is in line with our ambition to reduce our ecological footprint. Indeed, its proximity to the largest train station in the Netherlands ensures that our employees and customers can easily use public transport,” says Stu Sjouwerman, CEO of KnowBe4.
“Moreover, Utrecht is and will continue to be an excellent base for establishing further collaborations in a region where many efforts are being made to promote cybersecurity. Cybernetwork Utrecht is a good example of this,” adds Jelle Wieringa, Security Awareness Advocate at KnowBe4.
