About the NSS Labs AEP Test
NSS Labs tested CylancePROTECT under the most stringent conditions and specifically looked for evasions that customers will face in the real world. CylancePROTECT was found to be easy to install and manage; a leader in effectively preventing new zero-day malware, memory attacks, and scripting attacks and one of the most cost-effective solutions for complete ROI.
“We were pleased to work with Cylance and other vendors in producing an advanced endpoint security test methodology that takes into account advanced threats as well as the completely new ways of detecting and preventing them,” said Vikram Phatak, CEO at NSS Labs. “We believe this helps set a new standard in endpoint security testing and shows that Cylance is a capable product for defending against today’s new threats.”
The testing aimed to verify that the advanced endpoint product is capable of detecting, preventing, and continuously logging threats accurately prior to, during, and after execution while remaining resistant to false positives. The overall scoring of Cylance is at 99.69% efficacy after evasions were remediated. For more information about the NSS Labs test results, read this blog post from Cylance.
