Tripwire Appointed to G-Cloud 8 Framework

London, U.K., – February 23, 2017 – Tripwire, Inc., a leading global provider of security and compliance solutions for enterprises and industrial organizations, today announced that Tripwire has been awarded a place on the United Kingdom Government’s G-Cloud 8 framework. The agreement permits Tripwire to supply managed services including File Integrity Monitoring, Policy Management, Vulnerability Management, Web Application Scanning, and Log Management (delivered through Tripwire Remote Operations, SI and VAR partners) — throughout the UK’s public sector.

The G-Cloud 8 framework agreement supports the government’s policy to centrally manage the procurement of common goods and services through an integrated commercial function at the heart of government. It can be used by organisations across the UK public sector including central government, local government, health, education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defense and not-for-profit organisations.

“Tripwire is honored to be a part of the government’s G-Cloud initiative,” said Neil Harvey, vice president for EMEA and APAC at Tripwire. “As cyber attacks grow in size and complexity, organisations need to be armed with effective solutions to stay ahead of today’s sophisticated attacks. This appointment exhibits Tripwire’s commitment to providing the public sector with the best cyber security solutions on the market.”

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) works with both departments and organisations across the whole of the public sector to ensure maximum value is extracted from every commercial relationship and improve the quality of service delivery. The CCS goal is to become the “go-to” place for expert commercial and procurement services.
