OneLogin Delivers First-Ever Multi-Environment AWS User Resource Provisioning

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., November 30, 2016OneLogin, the identity management provider bringing speed and integrity to the modern enterprise, today announced the industry’s first multi-account, multi-role single sign-on solution for Amazon Web Services (AWS) access management. This further secures AWS environments by enabling cloud development and operations teams to access AWS resources using least privileged access — even for complex environments consisting of many accounts and roles.

AWS customers now have the ability to link all their AWS accounts and roles to a single OneLogin connection. Customers no longer have to decipher an ever-growing list of confusing AWS connections. Instead, they can assign a descriptive account alias to AWS account numbers and then manage AWS access permissions from a list of accounts and roles. With real-time Active Directory integration and automated user provisioning, this update enhances AWS administrator productivity and ensures that AWS end-users access the correct AWS accounts based on their organizational attributes.

“As companies execute their digital business initiatives, they often build transformative apps to run on AWS. These apps represent some of the most strategic digital assets to a company and require a high standard of access management,” said David Meyer, vice president of product, OneLogin. “Our AWS access management lets security teams see who can access which AWS resources and manage access to those resources without cloud teams exposing admin credentials. It also provides cloud teams the convenience of accessing all AWS resources via OneLogin’s single sign-on application portal.”

“OneLogin synchronizes users in real-time, which provides us with an essential kill switch for protecting data,” says John Hluboky, SVP of technical operations, Practice Fusion. “We have been very happy with our AWS integration on OneLogin due to the streamlined role mapping and MFA integration. The addition of a secure multi-account login strengthens security for us even further.”

OneLogin provides the industry’s most comprehensive solution for managing access for internal and external users across all devices and applications including AWS. OneLogin’s cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform provides services such as secure single sign-on (SSO) to approximately 5,000 cloud applications commonly used by today’s enterprises, along with multifactor authentication, automated user provisioning and deprovisioning, and integration with common directory infrastructures such as Active Directory and LDAP.
